I'ts been great listening to these shows the day after they are played! I feel so blessed to have such free access to this amazing stuff!

That said, they really need to turn Chimenti up in the mix. I feel like I can't hear him at all half the time. Maybe its his own doing but... he is a great musician and I would really love if I could hear what he was doing.

On second thought, his volume seems to vary greatly from gig to gig... maybe its the room?...

I dunno if it's the room or the engineer. I was at the Atlanta show and the drums were very low in the mix. The only time I really heard the keys were during a solo. Phil was in and out of the mix (could always hear him, but sometimes he'd be really loud).

I believe they've sold out the tour. The Tabernacle was definitely sold out last night (I was there) and it's a 2600 person capacity venue for what it's worth.

4 days away from Fairfax, VA and plenty of tickets are available. It does hold 10,000 though.

By far the best MOTM I have ever heard. Phil took it and made it a different song, which I consider a great improvement.

The Further boys are definitely bringing the business to the party. I was impressed and had a wonderful time.

All those years of listening to MOTM and I did not realize that it could be so much better if Phil lent his phenomenal vocal prowess to it and instead of Jerry they had some cover band hack play the guitar parts.Maybe if we are lucky they could get around to rearranging some of those other clunkers like Dark Star,Eyes of the World and such ,badly in need of Phil's touch.

Did Jerry ever come up with an arrangement of MOTM for the electric Grateful Dead?

It's pretty cool that this song can appear in the second set as a Dark Star type tune... the music is alive, sounding great, and that is what is important.

Amos - glad to hear you enjoyed it. I am still trying to finagle a ticket to the March 12th show for Phils b-day.

Dipping into Brent's catalog? Never thought that would happen. Great looking 2nd set.

Yeah, pretty surprising to say the least... JK singing this didn't sound too good, I only listened to half of it.

I saw The Dead in 2004 play Just A Little LIght. Warren was on vocals. Dipping into the Vince catalog will never happen though.
